You'll get this cat carrier? Yes, here.
---**
Oh, no...I don't go far without my Damn cat...
---**
Did he hurt you? No, he just growls like that...
---**
What's that dear? My constipation?
---**
Well, humph! I never! Oh, you said destination?
---**
Where to? Which way? Main Street, please.
---**
And no, my cat does not have fleas.
---**
Nippy day? Yes, yes..that's true.
---**
Ah...ah...ah...ah...ah...ah...ah....CHOO!!
---**
Hummmm..oh no, I AM so sorry, dear...
---**
How embarressing..a tissue? Here.
---**
What's your name, sir..and have we met?
---**
Well, of course you'ld remember me and my pet.

---**
But I'll know it when I see it...There!
---**
Oops...no not that one..further down...
---**
A little shop...that side of the street...
---**
The window washer there is such a treat!
---**
At least, I think that's how he signs his poems...
---**
No. no...I've not escaped from some old home!
---**
Right here! Stop! That's it, there.
---**
Now, speak up son, what is my fare?
---**
That tips for you...Now, what's that you say?
---**
Tell the window washer that you said, "Hey?"
---**
The Nightrider...what kind of name is that?
---**
Yes, but we weren't speaking of my cat...
---**
Thank you, deary..a good driver, you.
---**
Bye, bye. I hope you don't catch my flu.

-------
another cute one, m.e., nice to hear about your "Damn Cat" again. lol...ms.
-------
m.e.---what a hoot--loved it--now i know i'm spared-- that old lady wasn't coming to my shop--i'm a watcher--not a washer--sounds like a nightmare fare for nr though--fleas in your cab nr---thanks for a laugh m.e.--window watcher
-------
I can't put my finger on why, but I like it. -Duckfoil
-------
m.e. toooooo funny! different, active and hey nr, you get GOOD tips for fares like that?!?!?! hee hee justme
-------
What a way to start the day...It's a little after 6 AM here and and my visiting friend and I were just going through some of the poems. Then I come to this one about Taxi, cats and Window Watcher. Lots of smiles here for that one, m.e....especially when I read "I don't know the address, but I'll know it when I see it"...I get that a lot and always hate it as I find myself slowing down traffic because my passenger(s) don't know where they're going.
Really appreciate the effort and the contribution...Looks like you had fun writing it. ~nr
-------
uh-oh... any of you ever tried to take a cat along in the car?
our little tiger really goes wild when we try to, - the cat in the poem
was well behaved then... you think they are so nice and gentle, but no
when they don't get what they want they can get dangerous... lol...
that poem is great fun. (rhiannon)
-------
cute nice way to start my day with a little laughter. Gezz WW 2 poems for you now what will be next ? me. a job well done. Naa
-------
yeh, thanks guys...and ww i don't think you get out of this that easy...she was going to your shop... I have a feeling this old lady is becoming a character..need to name her..any ideas? m.e.
-------
but the poem says window WASHER--that is NOT me--i don't wash--the secretary would be doing that!--he-he---nr please don't bring her to my shop--she would be one of those nightmare customers who don't even know how to turn on a computer but want one & then when she couldn't turn it on it would be our fault---WW
-------
the old lady is hard of hearing and often gets her words mixed up....and you know what? i think she DOES have a computor..m.e.
-------
This commentary is turning into it's own little soap, can hardly wait to see what happens next. LOL Naa
-------
Neat poem! You wouldn't want to take my cat in the car.He gets sick-sick -sick and has a complete evacuation, you might say. But he's a dear on solid ground.lol Jane
-------
this was so funny. he just growls like that!!!!!! great.smc
-------
Humorous...love it! *mayflower*
-------
m.e. /- Reminds me of a miserable day, when a dear friend, about to catch a plane, had a "cat emergency". So I (a stranger to cat) drove her to the vet. It was hellish, putting her in my car. At the other end, she hid under a seat, and would not budge, for a long time. /- Farley
-------
Know what you mean, Jane. I have one that loves to ride and the other hates it. I think the key is starting them very young if you're planning to take them along a lot. ~nr
-------
Ah, dearies...I'm so pleased you enjoyed my little story about my cab ride with nightrider..he really is a fine youngman...maybe just a little sarcastic at times, but an excellent driver you know.. I think my cat misses him, as he hasn't been the same since our little ride. Well, dears, please stop by for tea anytime, I always have some crumpets in the freezer for company..you know I don't get too much company so it would be such a treat! Ta Ta....Auntie M.
