Poem Number 10631

[]

Commentary:
mouths itching to wink
and laugh and sparkle together
why do you lick out your match
instead of pooling with my spark to warm our asses beside the yellow twitching flame
[]
crayola suns might take me back
where can i fly
magic carpet_
into a thick wax sunset
or dense air
solid even blue
textured and flaking off
where a five year old smile pushed too hard.
[]
painting pastel pictures
textured and thick
like warm tomatoe soup
orange in the kitchen with toast.

come with me to my happy place & i will show you colored dreams--that's what i see--window watcher

mary, i think this is very interesting - i'm just not quite sure what to
make of it... but there are many great images and lines, eg. i like the
thick wax sunset... the dense air (you can see blue wax in thick layers
and lines on the paper really...)... i'm too tired to fully appreciate it now,
but i think i really like this. :-) (rhia)

great descriptions! m.e.
