Poem Number 22843

PEST

Spray can in hand over the ants
it hit me as to what it would
take to design a tiny robot
like this ant I'm about to destroy
After billions in research
it still would be inferior
to the real live piece of art
I put the can away along with
other human means of destruction
"Squishing such art would be like
smashing the Mona Lisa," I thought

you're right
