Poem Number 3475

Pinball eyes rolling, my sight
now and again, caught
by the inertia, that conceptual gravity
of objects... hitting the bells of words
lightening up memories... radiating associations
invisible silent instant mushrooming
exploding puffballs of language
And now, ladies and gentlemen, look -- no eyes !
pinball playing, all by itself !
(just a slight tilting, of the gameboard)
no time to react, no time to scracth, to time to tell the time
please scratch my scracth
got a reputation to maintain, pinball of words is my game
stand in line and wait your turn, if you want to take me on
