Sweet Evening
Commentary:
alone
the last brave birds sing goodnight
alone
the clean cool breeze tucks in the trees
alone
the roof under my body feels firm yet fragile
alone
the dusky dim sky gathers the earth beneath her
alone
the sounds of the evening ring clear, unmuffled by the day
alone
in the night, my thoughts have a voice
and my feelings have a soul.
