with Kidd and Dewey, that odd pair, and a ribbon in her hair
She would visit, They'd do the ta-ta
And while she tried to be a star, her trainer held-up bars
Across a talkshow floor, they worked from 12 till 4
They were young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?
