every day, reborn
from the shallow death of sleep
today - my birthday !
...
slow alpha rhythm
vagabond of my senses
newly created
...
this REM sleep cycle
a paradoxical sleep
where phantoms do dwell
...
repose of my soul
where hypocrites don't exist
prisoner's release
...
ambivalent poor
awakened to poverty
asleep in his wealth

figuratively speaking - allan (symbolic you might say, -lol)

REM sleep or paradoxical sleep cycle: This is an interesting stage in the normal sleep cycle during which dreams occur and the body undergoes marked changes including rapid eye movement, loss of reflexes, and increased pulse rate and brain activity.
