Life Lived
Commentary:
So much of my life has been lived
for someone who didn't want
what I had to give.
~
So much of who I am is very much because
"that someone" didn't appreciate
who I really was.
~
So much a part of the person I've become
is the brokenness left-over
now that "we" are done.
~

I like the simplicity of this, the understated emotion--well done! JFC

Wasted time. "Wasted life" I've heard that one said about people who just died. Really, who's to say but GOd. No life is wasted. We all waste a hell of a lot of time though, I think. Good poem.
