Commentary:
On April 30, 1997, I posted my first contribution to this website.
I was almost fifteen.
I have since posted under the names lil and chandler.
I am due to give birth to my first daughter this week.
Wish me luck.

I had not posted or commented for a while but I must do it now to wish you the best on this happy occasion.
A newborn’s arrival is like a canvas
On which life’s destiny paints for you
A limitless waterfall of dreams and lessons,
Filled with immense love, grace and truth.

Oh my God! Hermestri! I have looked and looked on this site for you wonderful poems. I so hope you would reappear. Thank you, Chandler for attracting his attention. He is a great poet. And Chandler, love to you and your new baby.
Hermestri, a poem please. We will honor it. I notice that most of the evil has gone out of this site. Do you remember Audee and Fallon? Wonderful poets too? And Chandler, please another wonderful poem from you. Has anyone heard from or of Fallon?

almost two-weeks past due,
c-section after a day of failed (pain-med-free) induction
little girl, leila lane, born 8lb 11oz, 22 inches, 11:30 pm.
she's learning to coo, to reach for things that she sees,
to play with her food, and to be loved more than anyone has been loved before

Chandler I thought you were an older gentleman! I had no idea, thanks for being my buddy. I'll understand if you are busy for a bit. Congrats on the newbe. I'm sure she'll be a do bee rather than a don't be. I hope Congress can get behind the home bees so the honey'll be sweet till she's an old bee. Thanks for all the poetry Chandler-ed in and around a once or twice delayed bee. Wow, a baby girl that's very nice. Best of luck, old bean!
