I can claim status
endangered species
The moment I die
I become extinct

lol... claude, of course the chuckle is for the poem. i really like the idea behind it. it had never occurred to me, but there's a lot of truth in that. well, and then there is the tone of the poem. i love the tone. tongue-in-cheek. there's too much "serious" serious poetry out there. (rhia)
