Poem Number 22408

Sometimes
The well runs dry

Commentary:
Sometimes,
I see your death
like the recollection of a dream;
a sudden glimpse of a regret,
crushing me with wishes and the shock of missing you.
I see you in the embroidery of my memory,
affecting my perspective forever.
I see my tears,
shining like diamonds.
I hear the sigh
of a thousand whys.
I taste the wasted words
that should have been replaced with
I love you.
-------
how about........
crushing me with you
missing....
and rewrite the rest. the begining is so good and the rest feels like you settled for it.

-------
I disagree with the 1st comentator, i think the poem is good throughout. I think every line should be kept the way it is :)
It's just perfect! Wonderful poem. ~~anonymous

when we accept our first thought, we don't grow. though i understand the need for simultaneous positive stimulous, could you articulate better why you thought the poem was wonderful; objectively? or, perhaps that is not the "purpose" of this site and these contradicting and scattering wills are a product of the occasional negativity and need for one groups attempt to negate the others just in order to a sense of control over something. so poet, depending on your purpose of posting, apply or don't reply to either of these statements. we can always gather tools to assist us in our growth, and poetry is certainly one of those means of doing so.
-------
I am not sure how to articulate this other than that I liked it and it was in good poetry form and it had a good plot...Is that good enough? :)

sorry for being so dogmatic. different reasonings, one doesn't and can't substitute or dominate the other. not equal but equivalent.

the first 7 lines ... powerful!!! Drm
