Poem Number 13007

Alabama fields of wavering white
Colorado hues of purple and majestic blue
Contrasting states, colors so bright
California's strife, intensified overnight,
one dead, no child died, a madman in custody,
who had a clue
Arkansas still has the dishonor of claiming Ole Bill,
but if you over look that we have beautiful lakes, mountains and hills.
Like saying to Mrs. Lincoln,
after the shooting at Ford Theater
"Apart from that, did you like the show?"
Don't blame all us Arkansans because Bill is an asshole, remember it took more than Arkansas to put him in office and I did not vote for him!

Commentary:
Good start with 3 verses. Any more? There are 50 states, last time I counted. == Merkel
