Poem Number 2970

Don't go away, not today
I need a few more hours of your presence
to give me courage to say good-bye
A few more hours to memorize
the depth of your eyes, the warmth of your smile
Just a little longer to feel we're as one
sharing the passion, the joy, the tears
the laughter-0h yes the laughter
gales of it over some silly little thing
A private joke only funny to us
The silent electric passion igniting our days
Wher will I find all these treasures
if you turn and walk away
leaving me with a vacuum causing my life to implode
leaving ... nothing but a black pit within my soul ...
a kind of void that can only be filled & satisfied by
You?
If you turn and walk away today,
I'll be a boat without an oar in this sea of life
Lost
Have a life saver.. Captain Larry's out of gum

Oh, no-no-no. I was thinking I was the chocalatey cookie and your poetry was the cream filling. That's my favorite part of the cookie...the cream.
