Poem Number 23030

... and here she is again
after all this time.
20 years ago, she said "forever friends".
She spoke true of forever.
The smiles come just as easy.
Though the words are a bit deeper,
they're still catching up to the heart
that passed friendship by long ago.
A long ago, that feels like yesterday, because here she is again.
