My Beautiful Friend

Please don't be sad my beautiful friend.
It just takes time for your mind to mend.
Please don't be sad my new found friend.
You will find happiness soon again.
Please don't be angry my beautiful friend.
Stop stuffing the pain inside and within.
Please don't be lonely my new found friend.
I'll write you letters I promise to send.
Please don't take out what you feel on yourself.
This is not the final hand you've been dealt.
Please don't forget the thought of my smile.
It will stay with you at least a little while.
Please don't be afraid my beautiful friend.
Your honor and pride you don't have to defend.
Please don't be sad my new found friend.
My help to you I was willing to lend.

Oh, this is quite beautiful and loving and it makes me want to cry. Whomever it is written to is blessed. I just returned from a couple of days at the coast where I dropped from my mind all pain and hate and dryness. Now I am back and I can't believe the anger, frustration, and fear in me. I am not one who has ever gotten bored with this site. I come back to it every day I can. I love it. However, it has its high tides and its lows, like anything else. Reminds me of how you meet a person of the opposite sex quite accidentally somewhere and you hit it off really well. All spontaneious. You go back to the same place a week later hoping to repeat the same chemistry and that person doesn't show. Sometimes this site is exciting, sometimes it lulls. Right now it alive and well thanx to poets like the one above. When it ebbs, just give it time and it will rise again.
