Haiku - Three

You are invited to add your own commentary for this poem.

Poem Number 1927

Winter brings sweet rest
Beneath it's snowy mantel
The Earth dreams of spring
But Summer thoughts are all a glow
The sun is swollowed by the chill in the air

Commentary:
Winter reigns
beneath it's mantel
new life stirs

BR, your three lines of Haiku are well done and present a cohesive picture that an artist could illustrate. Wish I had the painting and the poem superimposed.
