Poem Number 3465

Jimmy cracked corn and I don't care
That's what morons do. That and stare
Just like the chicken in a bread pan
Pickin' out dough and then ran
Grandpa's got his pipe of cob and brass
He smokes all day and let's out gas
All his kids live at home and are school fails
They play under the brush piles and by the rails
Ma's got hair all over n' under her chin
She's fixing a stew of chaw, molasses and gin
The cousin's are comin over for free meals
And everything else that they can steals
Cousin Buddy's got big sores all over his feet
He walks in big boots with insoles of cutlets of meat
His rat-haired sister lives in a burrow under a tree
She smells like a mix of grandpa's pipe and his pee
And Cousin Kaleb can talk the bible all day
To make good and sure that his flock doesn't stray
He gave all believers muskets, bullets, and knives
So that they can all destroy sinners and take their lives
Pa's got a limp and twitch from in the war
Ma wishes he'd have come back with a bit more
Aunt Sandy's partner, Jill, has gun powder and bombs
But she can't blow up a house as big as her mom's
And all I do is change my name and run
A family like this, I don't need none.
