Poem Number 375

There once was a lady from Dunkirk
she looked at me with a smirk
she had drunk some wine
and was feeling fine
so she went home and drew some lines
Before she knew it she was out of time
So she asked, "will you be mine?"
sure baby, if you give me the time
or rewind back to the time I worked you with my smirk
and lurk in the murk of the port of Dunkirk
or recall to mind the joys of being in love with a jerk
