Poem Number 1217
It was a dark and stormy night
All Snowbirds but one had migrated south
The shutters cracked and squealed
Louder than piglets in a slaughter house
Leaves blew under the kitchen door
She said, "Don't make me kick you out."
Grab your teeth and your hairpiece
If in heaven's name this falls apart
Dog under the divan, cat in the cupboard
a pig in the mud
i like to go out to eat and eat pie for breakfast
