Poem Number 869

Hmm, such a pristine room
so clean, so pure
nothing on these sunshine walls
no clutter of the living....
-
it needs an artists hand
a silky patina of moonlit silver
a kiss of glorious magenta....
and ooh la la
the allure of sultry midnight purple
-
it needs music too
acoustic and electric - a heartbeat
thrumming through these walls
it needs the hum, the harmony
the singers and the songs
-
it needs a touch of magic
the winsome ways of middle-earth
a summer drift off South Pacific seas
it needs a soul of poetry
that sweet witchery of words.
