Poem Number 7638
OK Last one
Sixty is here and sixty is there
For a long time I have had mostly white hair.
Never intended to live until now
So to go on from here, don't really know how.
But as they say, every moment, every day
is left to ponder, to scheme, to betray
those unaware that lurks nearby--under
one who seeks to kill, steal, and plunder.
So sixty-one is lurking right over there
But also here without a care
