Poem Number 713
The sour pantomime of inky, half remembered thoughts
Reflecting the inner workings of a spinning triangle while trying to sleep
Played out above the mantle like suspended scratches and rips in the air
The green leafs of evermore dance and flow like long flowing hair
Carressing the contours of the room in twillight spirals of delirium begot
The futuristic glowing night of spirits delighted with a corn mash shot
Gracing the form of the Grecian urn that stands atop the table heap
Stacking stacks of paper and paper accross the table linen cheap
In a failed attempt in youth to reach the spreading fingers of outer space
The glistening spores of glowing darkness glamourize the haste
Lacing like garlands my eyes which penitrate with paralyzed stares
Feet kicking and flowing of lies with a handful of abandoned horse hairs
I recede into the walls of silence and settle like the dust of ages.
