Poem Number 401

Winter's day, cold and stark
Temperature staring at the river Clark
Chauncey girl, plumb and dim
Sitting in a carton of sins
Bared feet with frozen toes
Fishing line in hand with a hook of fish rows
Temperature staring at what next conspired
Worm pile wrapped a spin and grabbed hold of a wrangler grip\
