i have found the solo critique room, and have made it my home. i like the format- comments after the poem. it makes it easy to find feedback on my poems, and i enjoy reading it for other's poetry as well- it is often enlightening. thank you for such a wonderful forum. i feel so welcome here. -aurora

I feel like I finally belong somewhere.

There is no such thing as constructive critizism.
Critizism in any form destroys self esteem.
As my father often said if you can't say something
nice then say nothing at all.

I love this page! I visited many "poetry corners" but this is the best. What I like is I dont have to write my name, it makes me feel more free so I can write things I wouldnt show to my friends. Theres only one thing that should be improved: there is no possibility to add the line between another two already written, and to remove mistakes. Would that be very difficult to make?

love the site, its an incredible outlet, however the author search definately needs work. only about half of my work appears when i use it
(and it never seems to be the same stuff, i.e. i just got a different set of my poems this time than i did the last time i used it a couple of months ago).
ideally, it would be great to be able to call up all of my old work and a complete set
of whoever else's work i'm looking up instead of trying to second-guess whether or not i've found
all that i'm looking for. thanks for the wonderful site, though!
