This is a real cool place. I was looking for ppoetry and writing groups on the Net and just stumbled onto this place. It kinda stirs the creative juices and inspires me in my own writing. Just wanted let you know how I felt about the place. Thanks.
Amy Jo Carpenter, Greenwood, Mississippi;

great page...i think i broke my shift key

Delekhan, oh i didn't kill you; i kill you, i kill you!

Great page! Interacting with other poets writing a single poem is a great idea, also it helps you get a different perspective if your line is commented on. Thanx for this page!!!

Hi Ann,
Just saw your note to drop in on a E-mail note.
Good time to tell you how much I enjoy the interactivity
and growth of ideas. The really cool thing is that
it's real time and all over the world...Being real
time makes it somewhat addictive for me,but what a
hoot.I hope the terrorist activity ceases, but some
folks just have to much time on their hands. My
friend Cynic turned me on to this page. We're both
song writers,so this is a wonderful oppertunity
to collaborate.
Thanks for the fun
rrron

P. S. I really enjoy your poetry! Truly thoughtful!!!

The poems are good. Keep writing with your hearts. The world needs some good poets who write with talent and not because it is a new fad.

This is an Intriguing Idea it seems to
be a good space to Express one's self with
out exposing one's self.

Creativity is truly a collaborative art....I'm glad to see so many poets coming together to make each work of art and imagination grow....The final works will be a thing to behold....Someone should be writing all these down for posterity,.

Look for my name from now on, I'll be appearing more frequently folks...If you care but I may do a good poetry piece every now and then
Duck-Quack Quack, USA; emeraldknight@hotmail.com

You should add a chat line to this homepage. I couldn't help but notice the relationships between the poets. It would allow everyone to talk to each other immediately. At the very least it would make interesting conversation.

I enjoy these poetry pages quite a bit, however
it doesn't seem like there has been much participation
from ANYONE as of late. Are people loosing interest or
what!?
Anonymous, ;

These pages seem to lapse, sometimes, from poetry into therapy. Yes, we all need a supportive environment, but I suggest that it take place elsewhere... by email, or in a chat format perhaps (?) Also, why is there poetry appearing as comments? Is that supposed to be some psuedo-poetic dialog? Disconcerting. Chris

What's with this sight? It has some of the most evil-tempered, inhumane people I have ever delt with. The folks in "Satan Chat" are nicer and more respectful. I feel that I am a good poet, however, I will wast no more time here! I respect you, but it is not worth it anymore.

Great site but I have to ask, has anyone ever actually looked up the word "gothic" to know what it means?

Hey Amy Jo? I am from Mississippi too. What are the chances of you and I being from the same state and posting here? Cool huh?
April Parker, Gautier, Mississippi; parkercrw@cableone.net

I just found my poem, "She", on this website. I don't remember posting it here. This poem is from a book of poetry I published in 1995, called, "Daphne Diadema". The book contains 27 poems ranging from free-verse tolyrics to structured sonnets, and deep thoughts. In the past ten years I have written a lot more poetry and plan to publish a new book.

Ref: Poem Number 149 KDEVA, is plagerized! Original Author: Ena Coti Laterrade.
LOOK NOT FOR BEAUTY
NOR WHITNESS OF SKIN.
LOOK FOR THE HEART
THAT IS LOYAL WITHIN
FOR BEAUTY MAY FADE
AND SKIN GROW OLD.
BUT---- A HEART THAT IS LOYAL
SHALL NEVER GROW COLD.
original author: written by, Ena Coti Laterrade.
The sad thing about the internet is that anyone can steal a persons true meaningful words and pass them off as their own. Prior to the internet this behavior would not be tolerated in the publication world, and unethical offenders payed with being outted and due a fair amount of humilation. SHAME ON YOU!
In future quote the author or if you do nto knwo becuase you stole it from another plagerizer give credit due to "UNKOWN".
